FAQ

Is the treatment safe? Are there side effects?

Yes. The modulating current is at very low power levels. We are working well within approved regulatory levels, and the Nyx  device has passed the technical and safety validation by EU-approved laboratories.

Furthermore, during our pre-launch treatments we did not have even a single case of adverse effects.

Our body needs time to “relearn” positive sleeping neural patterns and so repetitive sessions are required. that We have found that some people could respond after fewer sessions, but in order to  ensure that the treatment positively impacts as many people as possible we maintain 15 repetitions.

We have observed that the effect lasts for at least six months, but many are experiencing the improvement for over a year. The duration of the impact also depends on sleep habits, and whether the drivers which caused insomnia are still present (continued stressful work environment, etc.). If a customer feels a deterioration in sleep quality within 12 months of treatment, under our sleep improvement guarantee policy we will offer a free one day booster session to re-establish the impact.

It depends on you. Each person should manage his/her medication according to their needs and medical situation. Many people who received the treatment were able to reduce or  even end their medication usage. Importantly, if medication usage is changed we highly recommend that you consult with your physician before reducing prescribed medication regiments, and making any change gradual.

There are certain limitations/exclusions based on health conditions, for example for people with implantable electronic devices, or with certain psychological conditions. Also, people who have sleeping problems arising from physical obstructions such as Sleep Apnea or muscle cramps will not benefit from our program.

It works for most people, but unfortunately not for all. In our experience, close to 80% of people that were treated responded well and experienced improved sleep, however there are also  non-responders.

No. To be effective and to ensure safety, our treatment requires supervision by authorised staff. Furthermore, the relaxed environment provided at our locations and the additional modules we provide during the treatment are important to maximise the positive effects.
We do offer an at-home treatment option carried out by our professionals, but only if the settings are appropriate.

Is the Sleep Recovery
Program for you?

Answer a very short questionnaire to find out.
The Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) questionnaire is the standard used by many experts as a first step to assess sleep problems. It is a quick way to check how severe your sleeping issues might be.
Fill in the ISI and a few additional short questions to check if the Noxora Sleep Recovery Program might be relevant for you.
